PRIVACY POLICY
This document explains how we process personal data when you use the Nuclearphobia website and the User Access features (GDPR / Art. 13 notice).
1. Data controller

2. Data we process
- Account / User Access: email, nickname, (optional) name, password hash, timestamps (account created, last login, email verification), download info (whether downloaded and when).
- Email verification: verification token (stored as a hash) and verification sent time.
- Newsletter (if you subscribe): email, language, page, timestamp, IP hash, user agent and subscription status.
- Cookies: your consent choice
np_cookie_consent; if accepted, internal visit counters may be enabled (they remain disabled if you reject optional cookies). - Technical server logs: may include IP address, date/time, requested URL and user agent for security and diagnostics.
3. Purposes and legal bases

4. Recipients / processors
We may use service providers that process data on our behalf (e.g., hosting provider, email/SMTP provider). [OPTIONAL: list key providers]
5. Retention
- Unverified accounts: deleted automatically if not confirmed within 24 hours.
- Accounts: stored while the account is active; you can request deletion (or delete via User Access if available).
- Newsletter: stored until you unsubscribe.
- Logs: kept for a limited period for security/diagnostics. 30 days
6. Your rights
Depending on your situation you may have the right to access your data, rectify it, delete it, restrict processing, object, and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time (newsletter / optional cookies) without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO).
